New BIM Professional course for winter semester 2020

The course covers the areas of technology, processes, human resources and guidelines and teaches the participants how projects can be rendered more efficient with BIM on the basis of proven methods and tools. The training is divided into 5 specific modules focusing on individual topics and realized as interactive workshop:

  • Introduction to BIM and creation of 3D models
  • Modeling, Data Management, Systematic implementation of BIM
  • BIM in planning, execution and operation
  • Change management, BIM in design phase
  • Use of new technologies, presentations and final audit

The practical exercises and the exchange with colleagues in comparable situations allow for the direct application of knowledge to the participant’s professional situation. A certificate from Ruhr University attests the successful participation in the course and the participants' competencies in Building Information Modeling. The Academy of Ruhr-University Bochum is an officially recognized training provider in accordance with the planen-bauen 4.0 directive. The graduates of the course are listed at planen-bauen 4.0. In addition, the course follows the German VDI guideline 2552.

The new course starts 17th February 2020.
