At the 9th BIM Users Day in the inHaus Center in Duisburg on May 24, 2012, the focus is entirely on Building Information Modeling. We are pleased to serve as sponsors of this event in this particular location because inHaus2 is a building whose progress we accompanied with BIM methods and technologies right from the initial design stage through to construction and assembly planning.
This exchange of professional expertise is organized by buildingSMART e.V. and sponsored by HOCHTIEF ViCon.
The BIM Users Day provides a practice-related forum for the whole construction sector to discuss everything to do with Building Information Modeling. It is an event where architects, engineers, specialist planners, building services specialists, facility managers and builders can learn more about how BIM can support their business processes.
The focus this year will again be on practical issues which play a role in implementing BIM. Dirk Schaper, Managing Director of HOCHTIEF ViCon, will address the forum on the use of BIM in infrastructure projects.
The agenda for the day includes talks by distinguished experts on the new possibilities which BIM opens up in the field of project work.
The precise program can be found on the buildingSMART website (German only)
