ViCon in Qatar
Since 2009 HOCHTIEF ViCon is actively taking part in the Qatari market. One year later the foundation
of the branch ViCon QATAR followed. With a big infrastructure project, which a Qatari real estate
investor and urban developer will realize close to Doha, the entrance to the Arab market took place.
For this project ViCon QATAR coordinates the planning and construction with the assistance of its internally
developed 3D model, which will facilitate liaison among the project participants.
Because of the successful services at this project new jobs followed, so that just after a short period
of time ViCon QATAR was able to reach one of the front places in the Qatari construction business. This
position shall be extended with highly qualified services in the field of Building Information Modeling
(BIM) and the already gained knowledge of the Qatari market.
