Brief description:

The 4d model is used for planning and calculating the operation, the utilisation and the physical behavior of a building structure. At the same time, the model permits the vivid depiction of planning results to project parties from outside the construction sector, who can thus make decisions on an assured basis earlier than before.

With the interactive 4d model, the visibility and accessibility of the different parts of a building can be examined directly. The model can also form the basis for complex simulations of the flow of traffic and individuals or for the CO2 footprint sustainability analysis. At an early stage in project development, the ViCon CO2 Footprint enables an accurate forecast to be made on the level of DGNB (Green Building Council) certification which can be obtained.

The presentation of calculation results in a 4D model makes for much easier understanding and interpretation of the results.

In particular, people from outside the construction business benefit from the vivid depiction which a 4d model provides and it thus gives them a better feeling for the project and the current status of planning. The 4d model provides support for the comparison of different design variants and helps in deciding on particular options. The model can be used in various design/ planning disciplines, thus reducing costs.
